# Forward Variable Value Action

This action adds a forwarded variable to the conversation transfer action.

### Settings

The action uses the following settings:

| Variable | The name of the variable that will be forwarded | :white\_check\_mark:                                 |

### Remarks

This action will transfer a given variable value to the target [chatbot conversation](/actions-and-operations/flow/control-conversation-transfer-action.md) when a Conversation Transfer happens. If the variable already exists on the target conversation, it will be overwritten.

### Trigger

This action does not have any trigger.

### Variables

This action does not produce any variable.
